I cried too.

By the time I got to the last chapter of your book I could only read a few lines at a time as my tears were flowing like a river.

Then within a day I have been the most miserable, cranky wreck and had to keep coming back to that last chapter to help me focus.

"One is for the bennift of the one He loves, one is for the distruction of the one He does not love. "

I'm not sure how you came to this conclusion that this is what I was saying, but it's wrong. Both are for the benefit of the one He loves.

Also the verse in Romans you are speaking of, Paul is talking to the Jews who are relying on the law to save them and being judgmental towards others who don't rely on the law. If you read on, it's clear who Paul is talking too. He even goes on to say: "But for those who are self-seeking and who reject the truth and follow evil, there will be wrath and anger." That hardly is Christians he is speaking about.

We are in the age of grace right now. Unbelievers or those who rely on the law are also in the age of grace, but they ARE storing up wrath against themselves because of what they are relying on. Paul isn't talking to Christians in this text.

"He disciplines those He loves and He has wrath for those who attempt to destroy those He loves."

This is the only line that I have to take some issue with. In it you imply God's wrath and His descipline are two different things. One is for the bennift of the one He loves, one is for the distruction of the one He does not love. I have to argue that they are the same, because Paul warns believers "But because of your stubbornness and your unrepentant heart, you are storing up wrath against yourself for the day of God's wrath, when his righteous judgment will be revealed." If the wrath God is going to pour out on this day of judgment means annihilation, or eternal suffering, then how can it be loving if it is toward his children? Either that, or these believers have to earn God's love by not being stubborn or unrepentant. I just have to believe that God's wrath is the same towards all, and it is to destroy sin, which is the enemy...NOT the sinner.
